The new Star Wars trailer is here, and it’s got fans buzzing with excitement in anticipation for its release later this year.
It’s been six months since the first teaser Star Wars trailer was released with just a quick glimpse at what we can expect when Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Episode VII) hits theaters at the end of 2015. Now, the new trailer goes into even more detail, and gives fans a thrill by featuring some of the old stars of the original trilogy, including Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, who does the voiceover, and Harrison Ford appearing as an aged Han Solo with his trusty sidekick Chewbacca at the end of the clip saying, “Chewie, we’re home.”
The Star Wars trailer also features a quick shot of the face of the villain of the film, and plenty of TIE fighters and even a new droid.
The new trilogy is being directed by J.J. Abrams of Star Trek fame, and the director announced that he was going to be using more practical effects in The Force Awakens as opposed to CGI, much like the original trilogy.
